Each day is different for Sonal, which is exactly what she enjoys about her role. As one of our Heads of HR, she oversees the end-to-end management of the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to progression and beyond.

She’s a steady presence across the firm, supporting teams and managers alike. Whether it’s leading performance reviews, managing employee relations or guiding on best practice and legislation, Sonal keeps people at the heart of what she does. Her work spans salary reviews, promotions, engagement, benefits and recruitment, all to help NLP’s people feel valued and supported.

Sonal also helps things run smoothly behind the scenes to keep communication clear and connected. She coordinates Graduate Assessment Days and the annual Audit Breakfast, and keeps policies current and in line with employment law.

When she’s not at work, you’ll find Sonal trying new restaurants, exploring somewhere new, or unwinding with a good Netflix series and spending time with her friends and family.

Steve is the Operations Director at Nyman Libson Paul and brings over 20 years of experience within the firm. He is not an accountant!

With a sharp eye for efficiency and a practical approach to solving problems, Steve keeps the firm coordinated and on track, by effectively drafting and managing procedures and coaching employees. He works closely with all departments to ensure that NLP maintains a cohesive working environment and is responsible for all operational matters.

Outside the office, Steve is at his happiest when football is on or music is playing.

Charlotte joined NLP in 2018 as Assistant to the Operations Director and now plays a central role in shaping the firm’s culture and team experience. As one of our Heads of HR, she focuses on building strong relationships across the firm, ensuring that people feel supported, valued and equipped to grow.

From recruitment and performance reviews to training and development, Charlotte works behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly. She also oversees essential HR processes, keeping records in order and supporting payroll, the details that help everyone do their best work.

Charlotte brings calm, consistency and empathy to every conversation. Whether she’s welcoming a new joiner or helping a long-standing colleague navigate a challenge, her steady presence helps the firm stay people-first.

When she’s not at NLP, you’ll find her with her daughter at the park or tucked into a good book.

Suzanne joined Nyman Libson Paul in 2025 to lead our Company Secretarial team, bringing precision to every corner of corporate compliance. Her work covers everything from routine filings to the complexities of restructurings, ensuring our clients can act with confidence and stay one step ahead.

She guides through the intricacies of incorporations, share for share exchanges, buybacks, capital reductions and more. With Suzanne at their side, clients can move through regulatory hurdles smoothly, supported by expert insight and a steady hand.

Outside of office hours, Suzanne swaps paperwork for planting. Her allotment is a haven of calm, much like her crafting table or suitcase, ready for the next travel adventure.
