Paul’s story with Nyman Libson Paul began in 1978 when he joined as an audit trainee. Just three years later, he qualified, and by 1986, he had been promoted to Partner. Since then, he has played a central role in shaping the firm’s long-standing reputation within the entertainment world.

Much of Paul’s work revolves around theatre, film and television, advising clients across the creative landscape, from theatre owners and producers to charitable organisations and industry regulators. That deep understanding of the entertainment industry led him beyond the firm too. Paul served on the Board of Governors at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama from 1996, later becoming Chair from 2005 to 2017. He was awarded an Honorary Fellowship in recognition of his contribution. The same year, he joined the Board of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), where he continues to chair the finance and audit committee.

His leadership has extended beyond the arts as well. Paul was a non-executive Chair of the Board of Directors at the Jockey Club Racecourse, Huntingdon, for nearly a decade, having first joined the board in 1995. His commitment to both Drama Training and Horse Racing Welfare was recognised with an OBE in the 2018 New Year Honours list.

Outside of work, Paul can often be found at the racecourse or watching football.
